Hi! I’m Chaaya

THINGS ABOUT ME YOU DIDN’T ASK TO KNOW

British Indian by nationality, conflicted by nature. I think way too much about things. Probably explains why I was drawn to adland.

Right now I’m a Senior Strategist at RAPP London, creating campaign, comms and content strategies for brands.

I’m still learning about who I am (the basics: smart, stunning, wonderfully witty … also: annoying, stubborn, short).

And with that, I’m learning about what’s important to me:

Diversity, and being able to understand and embrace my own identity is a conversation that keeps pulling me in.

Being a part of - or simply celebrating - brands, ads, art, and media that challenge and change the way we think or act inspires me.

And more recently - ignited by many awkward and enlightening personal experiences since my teens - exploring how the beauty and wellness industry markets to women. And what more they can do to create and champion customer experiences that are inclusive of brown women.

These are the things that I’ll be sharing and talking about on this blog. So have a scroll and hopefully I can inspire you in some way.

If you want to hear ramblings and rants about life in ad land or spontaneous outbursts about nothing in particular, follow me on Twitter.

For a daily dose of my rizz and all the above in pictures follow me @chy.inspired on Instagram.
